» Non-Contact Infrared Temperature Measurement

Non contact infrared temperature seinsing is becoming more popular for many reasons, non-contact therefore non wearing, easy to install, very accurate, low maintenance and cost effective.  Every object or surface omits infrared and with the correct detectors this can be measured.  We select the best detectors for the temperature range and the surface type to be measured, the various types can be seen below.

These compact, low cost infrared temperature sensors have the electronics integrated within the sensor housing keeping the size and weight to a minimum.  With a temperature range of -20 to +350°C and an optical resolution of 10:1 means this product is suitable for most typical temperature sensor applications.

The signal conditioning electronics is embedded in the cable to ensure the infrared temperature sensing head is as small as possibole which allows installation into very small spaces.  Temperature range is -20 to +350°C and an optical resolution is the same as the CS at 10:1.  Optional USB interface kit enables programming of the sensor.

Housed in a hard annodised aluminium case which gives a high level of protection in arduous conditions and also offers temperature stability in changing conditions.  Temperature range is configurable via the optional USB interface from -30 to +900°C for the 4-20mA 2-wire output signal.

The CT non contact infrared temperature sensor is the most common type of pyrometer.  There is a choice of 3 different optics and a range of electrical output types such as volts, mV, 4-20mA and serial outputs.  Temperature range from -40 to +900°C, backlit display and programmable buttons.

The thermoMETER CT Laser offers similar performance to the standard CT but has the added benefit of an integrated laser sighting system which indicats the position and the spot size the device focusing on.  Temperature ranges from -40 up to 975°C and a wide range of analogue and digital outputs.

The CT Fast is based on the standard CT product but has been developed with Faster electronics achieving a response time of 3ms to 9ms.  Still having the standard options of the CT with the analogue and digital outputs, programmable via the push buttons or the optional USB interface.

The CT Hot is based on the standard CT product but has been designed with a 'Massive Housing' which enables ambient temperatures to reach 250°C without affecting the reliability of the product.  Still having the standard options of the CT with the analogue and digital outputs, programmable via the push buttons or the optional USB interface.
