The PTM is a digital pressure transmitter with a serial output RS485 (ModBus) which can output pressure and temeprature values.  Being digital the user can access the setup of the transmitter to adjust the calibrated pressure range from the factory default down to 1:4 times.  For example a 10 bar device can be re-calibrated by the user to have a new range of 2.5 bar and still maintain the factory accuracy figure of <±0.1% FS.  The adjustament can also be made on the Offset value of the sensor. 

The PTM incorporates the piezo-resistive measuring element which is highly accurate and stable with temeprature fluctuations.  Pressure ranges are from 50mbar through to 1000 bar gauge, sealed gauge and aboslute with compound ranges also available.  The device also outputs an analogue (digitally compensated) 4-20mA signal not only for pressure but also optional for temperature measurement also.
