The DMP 304 has been designed to work up to ultra high pressure ranges, the compensated strain gauges are bonded to a stainless steel diaphragm this offers a high level of reliability and stability accross the full pressure range. Pressures from 2,500 and up to 6,000 bar are possible with teh higher pressure ranges offering a massive 9,500 bar over pressure capability!

Adjustable zero and span pots are made available externally which allow the user to trim in any residual offsets or pressures in the system, the fullscale range can be adjusted also to allow for a perfect calibration..  If the MIL spec/Bendix connector version is selected there is the ability to perform an 80% shunt calibration, this is useful to check the calibration status of the device periodically and ensure the device is working properly which in these ultra high pressure applications, safety in the pressure system is very important.

There is the option of ATEX intrinsically safe certification on the product enabling use of the pressure transmitter in hazardous areas.
